We have a range of offerings to help support the volunteering sector. Please explore the content, and we hope you find something that interests you.

Managers of volunteers are invited to come along to our Network Meetings, held quarterly in the North, North West, and South of the state, as well as online. These sessions are free of charge to members of Volunteering Tasmania .

What to expect:

  • Learn from others’ experiences
  • Collaborate and share ideas
  • Inspire and be inspired
  • Support one another
  • Get affirmation that you are doing well
  • Hear about new ideas and innovative practice
  • Seek and share resources and referrals
  • Develop a relationship with your local Volunteering Tasmania representative and receive ongoing follow up and support from the session outcomes

This service makes it easier for volunteers and organisations to find each other, and ensure a great match.

Through Volunteer Connect, volunteers can search the database for vacancies, and co-ordinators or managers, like you, can place free advertisements for volunteer positions.

To place a free advertisement, you will need to first register with Volunteer Connect, using the form located on the For Organisations hub page, under the list a role tab.

Once your registration has been processed, you will be sent an email containing your login details. Please be aware that this may take up to a week.

Once your login details have been received, you will be able to list volunteer positions on Volunteer Connect Online.

Volunteer Recognition Certificates 2024

Exclusive member benefit

We are excited to continue to offer our volunteer recognition certificates member benefit for 2024.  These certificates are to support your celebration of National Volunteer Week (20-26 May 2024).

National Volunteer Week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteers and this year’s theme is Something for Everyone.

We are delighted to support our members with personalised digital certificates of appreciation for each of your volunteers – whether you have 1 or 10,000.

These certificates can be personalised with your organisation’s logo, and shows yours, and Volunteering Tasmania’s, appreciation for the contributions of your volunteers.

Please note: Certificates will be provided in a digitised format.  We encourage members to distribute them in the way that is meaningful and relevant to your volunteer workforce. Your local Member of Parliament’s office may offer complimentary printing services. This presents an ideal opportunity to engage in a conversation about the challenges you face in volunteering and how funding through service grants could enhance volunteer infrastructure, roster systems, and support for tasks such as Working  with Vulnerable People registrations and police check forms.

Orders close Friday, 12 April 2024.
