Finance and Payroll Coordinator

THE ROLE

The Finance and Payroll Coordinator will perform a range of accounting, financial and payroll functions in accordance with legislative requirements, supporting the CEO, and Board of Directors through the provision of quality finance and payroll services.

Key duties will include:

  • Manage all banking, debtors and creditors, financial reconciliations, and coordination of end of financial year processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of the VT’s payroll in line with current Awards, Agreements, and legislative
  • Ensure accurate records are kept to facilitate GST and FBT compliance, and liaise with external accountant with respect IAS, BAS, and FBT returns preparation and lodgment.
  • Complete reports to meet funder financial reporting requirements, including all grant acquittals, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Develop and prepare annual budgets and budget reforecasts in conjunction with the CEO.
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports (including profit and loss, balance sheet, cashflow forecast, and an analysis of any material issues and variances) for presentation to both the Finance Risk and Audit Committee and the Board of Directors.
