Volunteering Tasmania offers a variety of products to support best practice management of volunteer programs.

Each product can be offered at a member or non-member rate. Prices are advised upon enquiry, please contact us.

The purpose of VMRs is to work with organisations in reviewing their existing volunteer management program. Consulting with existing volunteers and staff to understand the current environment of best-practice volunteer management strategies, and areas of development informed by this process.

All Volunteering Tasmania advice and resources will be based on the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement.

The objectives of VMRs are to:

  • Review the existing volunteer management practices
  • Consult with existing volunteers and staff
  • Provide recommendations informed by review and consultation
  • Develop written resources based on recommendations agreed to

The purpose of VPDs is to work with organisations who require a volunteer program to be developed, tailoring the program to suit the needs of the organisation. Once developed, Volunteering Tasmania then supports the organisation while they launch, promote, recruit and onboard their initial volunteers to the program.

All Volunteering Tasmania advice and resources will be based on the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement.

The objectives of VPDs are to:

  • Review the requirements of a volunteer program for the Organisation
  • Develop frameworks for recruitment, induction and training, and retention.
  • Develop written resources for recruitment strategies, policies and procedures, and a volunteer manual/handbook.

Volunteering Tasmania team members can assist you in reviewing and providing considerations around existing volunteer program documentation. This is offered to VT member organisations only. The Self-Audit Tool has been designed to help you get a better understanding of how well your volunteer program is meeting the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement.

It also provides you with an insight into how your volunteers rate your volunteer program.

It is easy to use and will assist you in monitoring the impacts of your continuous improvement strategies over time.
