Community Development Officers
The Community Development Officers work with organisations involving volunteers to provide quality support in meeting best practice standards in volunteer management. This includes facilitating Coordinator Network Meetings; providing workshops, education and consultancy; promoting and advocating for volunteering in the Southern community; working with all levels of Government to enhance and develop volunteering and provide support to individuals seeking volunteer positions.

Policy Officer
Meg Webb
The Policy Officer assists Volunteering Tasmania to develop and further its strategic direction. The policy officer coordinates the preparation of VT’s major policy advocacy submissions including the supporting documentation required for VT’s funding submissions. In addition, this role translates current research into policy approaches for VT advocacy work. This role has primary responsibility for preparation and development of VT’s State of Volunteering report.

Volunteer Management Review Officers
The Volunteer Management Review Officer is responsible for conducting Volunteer Management Reviews to support best practice volunteer program management in volunteer involving organisations in Tasmania. VMR Officers will help reviewed organisations to develop realistic goals to meet the National Standards and incorporate change methodologies to increase their capacity to recruit, retain and effectively manage their volunteer staff.

Volunteer Connect Project Officers
The Project Officer is responsible for establishing Access Points in existing community based sites where individuals can obtain information about local volunteering opportunities. The Project Officer is responsible for providing quality ongoing support to these Sites as well support the Volunteer Connect Data Base on which organisations can register their available volunteer positions and individuals can register their interest in volunteering.
